A valiant attempt at a club-based music video with some sense of narrative. Good use of location and minimal casting to create the effect, with an interesting location and an impressive ability and attention to detail with the cut rate especially with the lack of variety in the events in the footage. A strong variety of angles and some nice visual touches with downing the shot and the silver paper. Confident performance by the central character, and lots acheived with eye contact and body language. Lighting is appropriate to the genre, there is a sense of concept and image using the romance. Overall lacks depth in the idea and narrative to hold attention and create substantial meaning to last 3 minutes, as reduces at times to well shot and well edited documentary on teens clubbing. Overall technically this does demonstrate real excellence in it's execution, casting, location, lighting and controlled steadicam and the opening angles, along with the stylised titles are effectively applied, beat editing is in place religiously.
